Beautiful Bute

1. Take the A886 down to the ferry at Colintraive, where boats cross to the island every half an hour or so. 
2. Once off the ferry follow the only road around to Port Bannatyne and then Rothesay.
3. We recommend the following places to visit:

4. A drive round the island is wonderful, and includes great views of the Clyde and the isle of Arran

Inspiring Inveraray

1. From Dunans head north to rejoin the A83 at Cairdow. 
2. On the way visit Loch Fyne Ales and Loch Fyne Oyters (the delicatessen is not to be missed) as well as the Tree Shop Cafe - good for cake and coffee.
